Lighting is still often forgotten in construction until the very  last minute. Good planning and strategic thinking can save time and money and more importantly, it will help your site to reduce and eliminate its negative impacts on the environment and its inhabitants.

If you are unsure what is required when assessing the potential impact of an outdoor lighting scheme or whether lighting is required at all, Joseph Lighting can provide detailed assessments for submission to Local Planning Authorities. Planning and strategic deliverables can include:

  • Environmental Lighting Impact Assessments

  • Obtrusive Light Assessment of glare and spill light both pre and post-installation

  • Outline design pack with preliminary calculations and layouts

  • Confimation of compliance or non-compliance for existing lighting
